Sanbao

Jingdezhen Sanbao International Ceramic Art Working Village, also known as Jingdezhen International Sanbao Ceramic Art Institute, was built by Chinese-Canadian ceramic artist — Li Jiansheng in 1995. In the last 10 years Sanbao has become a very important window for international exchange with the help of the following organizations, International Ceramic Art Organization, International Ceramic Art Education Field, and China Ceramic Art Field.

Sanbao International Ceramic Art Working Village was recently accepted as a member of the International Ceramic Art Institute, becoming the first organisation to represent Chinese ceramic culture. As a representative of Chinese ceramic art culture Sanbao has joined and organized many important international ceramic art events, including 2004 Jingdezhen millennium Fair, joining the Australian International Ceramic Art Master Exchanging Show, American San Diego Ceramic Art Educational conference, Norway Oslo International Ceramic Art Seminar, Australian Ceramic Art Centre Invitation, Italy parkso Culture Centre Designing Invitation and so on. All of these activities have provided a valuable cultural platform for cultural exchange between China and western countries. From 2004 — 2008 Sanbao Ceramic Art Museum will organize and join more international shows,conferences and exchange activities. With the relationship that Sanbao has built with its international partners Sanbao can be assured a very bright future.

Sanbao Ceramic Art Institute is situated in the famous ceramic city — Jingdezhen, and has worked to combine international and contemporary cultural opinions with the 1000 year history of traditional Chinese Ceramic art in Jingdezhen. Sanbao has successfully provided new insight into the 21 st Century for China within the international ceramic art and cultural art fields.
